Developed for: The Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership, Inc. (ANDP)

In an effort to complement the current growth of loft housing development and new construction around the Olympic Park in Downtown, the Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership (ANDP) was approached by the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce to spear head what is being call the "Mixed Income Housing Initiative."

 

New Orleans (ORDA)

Serving in New Orleans as a loaned executive, in the Office of Recovery and Development Administration (ORDA) from 2007 – 2009, sponsored by the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation (LDRF), Ford Foundation, Greater New Orleans Foundation, Foundation for the Mid-South and the W.K.Kellogg Foundation, von led the effort to incorporate principles of Equitable Development on behalf of PolicyLink into the City Housing Policy as the Senior Advisor for Equity Development for the City of New Orleans.
   

Health Policy Institute - Technical Assistance

Between 2006 and 2009 MXD was engaged by the Joint Center for Economic and Political Studies – Health Policy Institute (HPI) in Washington, DC to provide technical assistance (TA) to health department located around the United States. MXD focused on providing techniques on business/economic "case making" linking land use and zoning issues to public health outcome.

While leading the Mixed Income Communities Initiative (MICI) – Research Policy & Advocacy at the Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership, Inc. (ANDP) - 1998-2007 von conceived of a collaborative relationship among the public sector, non-profit and NGOs with leveraging philanthropic resources to spearhead the creation of the 1st truly regional housing data center in Atlanta.
