a design study for a 4-acre site in downtown Atlanta.
The developer's goal was to present the owner of the
property with a mixed use development design scheme
showing how the property might be developed to its
highest and best use.
The design scheme consisted of two 40-story buildings with a
combination of dormitory suites and rental apartments. The terrace
building between the towers contained dormitories and townhomes.
Freestanding townhomes were also part of the design scheme.
All the residential units (1,730 total) were to be built on top of a
landscaped deck garden. A cafe/restaurant and a retail mall at street
level was also part of the design scheme.
