The
Candler Warehouse is a 38.2 acre site containing storage
facilities approximately 1.5 miles south of downtown Atlanta.
The proposed development, partially represented here, called
for a 4 million square foot mixed use development with an
estimated development cost of $350
million.
The
proposal included a mix of 1,000 to 1,500 units of rental
homes and for sale town houses.

uses proposed for this "New Town" included 50,000 square
feet of retail, 100 units of Senior Citizen Congregate
Housing,

Development Center.
