Environmental Impacts
The members of this Studio realize that the issue of Environmental Impact is multifaceted having to do with better/efficient use of land, protection of trees and open space, green building energy efficient technology, as well as having to do with Environmental Justice. This is a positive intersection for concerns of the environment, the economy and equity; this convergence of interests is a “triple bottom line”. This intersection produces policies needed to sustain the environment is often beneficial, fairer and more equitable for stakeholders, not only for the environment, but also for citizens of a community. Thus this Studio is composed professionals able to address both the physical design issues that impact the environment (exterior and interior) and the social issues tied to environmental policies that impact citizens.

Gray has almost 15 years of experience in both residential and commercial real estate development and management. Prior to joining Southface in 2003, he was Vice President of Retail Properties at Paces Properties, Inc. (developer of Vinings Jubilee, Atlanta 's first "Lifestyle" retail center) and a Project Manager for Design Construction by Craftmaster, a custom home builder in north Atlanta.
